“When I was younger, it’s not like I was ‘ungrateful,’ but I never stopped to take time to reflect on everything I had going for me. Now I do a gratitude practice every morning.”
Turia Pitt
I want to start by mentioning Turia, the woman I’m quoting today. Knowing her story gives this quote a whole new meaning. So, if you are not familiar with her story I would suggest learning about it. It is incredibly inspirational.
I’ve been talking about Gratitude a lot lately and this time I have a specific purpose for mentioning it here. As you may have noticed or read on social media I’ve been working on something that I’m excited to finally share.
For the past 4 and maybe even 5 years now, I’ve been focusing on cultivating practices and habits that help me feel supported, centered and well… grateful. Running a business that required a ton of attention to detail, a lot of labor with strict dead-lines and in general wearing so many hats made me feel depleted most of the time.
It was around 2019 when I realized I needed to start implementing habits that could help support my overall well being while running my business. As I started learning and cultivating different practices I realized how much I loved learning about the many ways we can keep our body, mind and spirit in optimal harmony and flow with the natural rhythm of life and the universe. This is when my passion for learning more about my self and all the beautiful aspects of our humanity started to grow.
It was clear to me that the emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of our being are the most intriguing to me. I want to learn everything about it, implement it and integrate it to support my individual well being. When I started in this journey, and without knowing it, I was growing a connection with myself that I had never experienced before. I was learning aspects of myself that I had never seen or reflected on. It took me a little while to realize that the curiosity I felt for learning more about these practices, mindsets, tools, habits and myself were also helping me see who I was from a different lens, a lens that allowed me to feel more love not only for myself but others too.
So here I am, 4 years later after starting these practices, realizing that the part I loved the most about running my business is the side that was never really shown. The side that sustained me, supported me and taught me how to love myself and to listen to my inner guidance. The guidance that showed me that it was ok to to change, that it was ok to build something and start again, the one that has taken me here, to share and guide others in this journey of learning, loving and growing more aspects of ourselves.
And The Way of The Heart was born, not just the Podcast but a Community Membership created with the intention to share some of these practices and tools in community and with accountability. The practices that have helped me connect with my self and those around me in a deeper and empathic way. The practices that also gave me the insights and the wisdom to make conscious and strategic decisions in my life and my business to create a company that was built with my heart at the center of all my creations and that today I understand was the reason of its success.
It wasn’t easy to make a decision that went against what we have learned about the world we live in. When I decided to say no more to a successful and profitable business because I felt a pull from my heart was scary at first but it was a decision that brought immediate peace and alignment to myself. So, it made me wonder, how many of us are going through this? how many of us have a funny feeling that we are being pulled to do something else? How many of us have jobs or life styles that make us feel depleted because of the amount of energy we spend? How many of us are only listening to external voices but not listening to ourselves?
The best part about this process is that it started by making a simple decision, the decision to implement gratitude as a practice in my day to day. Because self-love starts with the decision to see the world from a different lens, a lens that supports us and that allow us to see everything that we already have and everything we already are. It brings us closer to our authentic self and to the things that make us feel alive.
So, my hope is that you can join me in this journey, in this community that shares the intention to love and trust ourselves so we can create with confidence a life that feels like we are truly enjoying ourselves.

The structure of our monthly content will be based on the 4 phases we go through during our growth and evolution- expression, experimentation, integration and transcendence. Each week of the month will be inspired by one of these 4 phases and we will experience it by the guidance of one word a month. The doors for our community will open April 3rd, and the first word that will guide us will be… you guessed it, Gratitude.
During the month of April I will be running a special price to celebrate the launch of the community, you can join on April for $14 a month or $150 for the year, after April it will be $22 a month or $229 for the year.
I really hope you can join us and if you have any questions please reach out to me.
Love, Nat.
